Suicide

WY Suicide Prevention Website – Site can be used by professionals and members of the public. Includes information for urgent support and general signposting. Support includes local and national services as well as further reading and resources. 

WY Language guide – Research led language guide with tips on how to talk about suicide.

Bereavement

Local Bereavement Service – Compassionate support for people bereaved or affected by suicide. Delivered by staff who understand because they’ve been there. Covers all of WY and can be accessed by anyone not matter when the bereavement happened.  

National Bereavement Service – National suicide bereavement service for adults. 

Children’s Bereavement Service – Service for anyone under 25 experiencing any form of bereavement.

Touchstone Wellbean Café Crisis Support

The Touchstone Wellbean Cafe is open 7 nights a week from 6pm-12am. They are currently operating all 1-1 supports over the phone and face to face support via Zoom which can be downloaded free of charge on any android phone.

Time for Young People Leeds is to provide early emotional and mental health support to children and young people in Leeds, specifically children and young people require alternative routes to support outside of school or NHS services.
