Nurse Training Programme – Expressions of Interest

Posted on:

The Leeds GP Confederation training hub is looking for nurse trainers and content developers for their new nurse competency-based training programme.

If you are an expert in your field and passionate about creating engaging, quality, competency-based content for our training programmes or are passionate about delivering engaging training, then we would like to hear from you.

Over the next 12 months we are planning on developing and delivering the following courses:

Vaccination and immunisation for new nurses – this is intended to be a 2-day course and will be delivered in person.

Basic clinical skills for Health Care Assistants – this is intended to be a 3-day course with a hybrid delivery model. Please note we only require trainers for this course.

Long Term Conditions Training – This will be a yearlong programme that will include content for new staff and the necessary annual updates. This will be delivered in a hybrid model including online learning, virtual and face to face sessions.

We will provide content developers with a specification brief for each training module to ensure all our training delivered is to the highest quality and covers national guidance. Trainers will have a detailed brief to work from when facilitating sessions.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please complete our Expression of Interest Form and we will arrange a call with you to discuss further. Deadline for applications will be 23:59, 7th January 2024.
