Funded Nurse Associate Apprenticeships available
As part of the additional roles reimbursement scheme, PCNs are able to fund trainee nurse associates; this is currently the only apprenticeship and nursing role available under ARRS. As discussed at the PCN Managers meeting this morning, there are places still available for the February 2023 intake with both Leeds University (deadline application 25th November) and the Open University (They need to have started the process by 7th October, closing date is 21st October)
Large healthcare organisations must contribute to an apprenticeship levy, we have received confirmation that we can access this pot to fund these apprenticeships which cost around £15k. This is a great opportunity to offer a development opportunity to staff within your practice or PCN.
