Digital strategy

Our focus spans across 3 main areas:

  1. Improving the effective use of current systems
  2. Ensuring all new systems are implemented with full practice input
  3. The creation of “digital champions” within each PCN or group of PCNs

Improving the effective use of current systems

We are creating a programme of free training sessions that will be based around the needs of each practice.  The sessions will be delivered in various ways – 1:1; group sessions; webinars – all of which will be confirmed when we have evaluated what everyone needs.

Ensuring all new systems are implemented with full practice input

The implementation of task & finish groups will allow of cross section of people from across the city to decide how new software is built and used.  This is a great opportunity to shape the technology for the future.  To ensure successful integration of systems we will look to implement a “first adopter” scheme, where tech savy forward thinking practices test the systems in a live environment.

The creation of “digital champions” within each PCN or group of PCNs

Is there someone within your practice, PCN or locality that you rely on for problem solving or advice on how to use a system? If so they would be the perfect person to become digital champions in your area.  Anyone who is passionate about improving technology to improve efficiency within practice can put their name forward to become a digital champion.

If you’d like to get involved or have any training needs at your practice or PCN, please complete the following form  by the end of August.
