Our refresher training is designed to refresh your knowledge and skills and update you on the latest clinical or legislative improvements. Completing this course will help you meet revalidation requirements to maintain your registration.

- Asthma and the population groups it affects.
- Symptoms of asthma.
- Impact of asthma on an individual’s quality of life.
- Key diagnostic tools used in asthma
- Diagnose Asthma in practice (Clinicians Only)
- Pharmacological (medicine-based) and non-pharmacological (lifestyle-based) pathways
- Signposting
- Treatment options in practice and the reasoning behind them.
- When to refer to specialist practitioners.
- Full annual review and follow up as required including all the elements of good asthma care including but not exhaustive of: Lifestyle advice; RCP, ACT questions and usage; Inhaler technique; Medication management through patients’ choice and empowerment; Peak flow/spirometry/trail of treatment/FENO; Follow up/monitoring; Written action plans
