Over the past month there have been several changes to Leeds GP Confederation’s Executive team. We hope that our new appointments, as detailed below, will aid in driving us forward to achieving our vision; To enable general practice to thrive. Thereby improving the health of people, contributing to the health and wellbeing ambitions of Leeds.

Chief Operating Officer

Following a review of our operational structure, which included a rigorous assessment process, the role of ‘Head of Operations’ has now become ‘Chief Operating Officer’, reflecting other provider organisation roles within the Leeds Health and Care Partnership.

With immediate effect, Jane Sadler will hold this position being a thoroughly competent and highly respected person not just within Leeds GP Confederation, but the Leeds Health and Care Partnership.

I am really proud of the work I have done over the last three years in my Head of Operations role; notably the Outstanding CQC report in autumn last year. I am honoured to work with such a dedicated and talented team who really do put the health and wellbeing of our patients at the centre of everything we do. I am excited to move into the Chief Operating Officer role; supporting the organisation to continue to deliver patient centred services along with supporting our teams to develop.

Also having recently worked in the charitable sector as well as general practice. We are very pleased to welcome Andrew in our journey of improvement and excellence.
